Dennis Seaton started performing professionally at the age of fourteen when he became the lead vocalist of 'Musical Youth'.

This band were well known for their worldwide hit song 'Pass The Dutchie' which sold over five million copies.

The band were nominated for a Brit & Grammy Award in 1983 having broken America through TV shows like 'Saturday Night Live' and the newly formed MTV, becoming one of the first black bands to appear on MTV, even before Michael Jackson!

Dennis has recorded & performed with Irene Cara (Flashdance), Jody Watley (Shalamar), Steve Hackett (Genesis),

Donna Summer, Christopher Cross, Latoya Jackson and Stevie Wonder, who also wrote and produced two Songs

for Dennis's own solo album 'Imagine That'. To this day Stevie Wonder remains a personal friend.

Dennis has been performing for over 40 years and in 2022 performed at the closing ceremony of the

Commonwealth games in Birmingham, which was a great honour for Dennis.

Performing live is a passion that has never left him since his first performance with Musical Youth.

In 2023 he collaborated on a new cover version of 'Pass The Dutchie' with Emily B and they have more duets in the pipeline.
